Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the COL Financial, COL Investment and COL Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 3.77% or 400.00 points to trade at 11,000.00 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) added 1.52% or 30.00 points to end at 2,000.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) was up 1.39% or 240.00 points to 17,500.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which fell 1.84% or 150.00 points to trade at 8,020.00 in late trade. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) declined 1.32% or 140.00 points to end at 10,500.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) down 0.88% or 40.00 points to 4,490.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.31% or 7.45 to $314.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 10.29% or 996.00 to hit $8,684.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 23.70 to trade at $3,384.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.06% to 4,079.75, while BRL/COP fell 0.49% to 739.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 98.35.
