U.S. stock index futures fell Tuesday on rising concerns about the Israel-Iran conflict, ahead of the release of key retail sales data and the start of a two-day Federal Reserve meeting.
At 05:15 ET (09:15 GMT), Dow Jones Futures fell 270 points, or 0.6%, S&P 500 Futures dropped 36 points, or 0.6%, and Nasdaq 100 Futures slipped 125 points, or 0.6%.
The main averages on Wall Street ended higher on Monday, with analysts noting some moderation in worries over the impact of several days of airstrikes between Israel and Iran.
The S&P 500 rose 0.9%, the NASDAQ Composite surged 1.5%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.8%.
