Sulzer AG (SIX:SUN) on Thursday confirmed its 2025 guidance after reporting strong first-half results with sales growth and improved profitability.
The company posted sales of CHF 1,743.9 million for the first half of 2025, representing a 6.3% increase compared to the same period last year, demonstrating good business momentum.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose to CHF 251.0 million, marking a 15.9% increase. The company attributed this growth to higher sales volumes and reduced costs.
Sulzer’s EBITDA margin improved by 90 basis points to reach 14.4% in the first half of the year.
The Swiss industrial engineering firm maintained its full-year guidance for 2025, expressing confidence in its business outlook for the remainder of the year.
